I was twelve years old, and for a couple days I had been thinking about raising dogs. Ever since I can remember I have a loved dogs. I was riding in the feed truck with my dad and I said, " Daddy, I want to raise dogs." After I told my mom she told me I should raise the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She said her friend's mother raises them and that they can bring in good money and they're very good breed of dog. My plan was to raise $3,000 by mowing the yard for three years ( I was paid $5 an hour, and it was a big yard ). But I was very blessed to get the opportunity to get two older females, Bella and Gracie. The lady who gave them to me said that if they bred she wanted the money from one puppy. But if they didn't I could keep them for free because she said she knew they were going to a good home. Which was a great deal! After what seemed like forever I finally got my first litter of puppies from Gracie! I ended up with two boys and three girls! I gave one girl to a lady that bred Gracie for me, I sold the two boys, and I kept Missy and Victoria. This gave me a great jump start! I was able to buy Caspian and after waiting for almost two years Tori finally had her first litter! And not too long after Missy had her first litter! I did it! Even though some people told me I wasn't going to be able to do it, I did it! There were some people who didn't think I could do it, but I did it! I surprised a lot of people! I love my dogs so much! They are a true blessing in my life!

Bella and Gracie both crossed the Rainbow Bridge in the summer of 2021. They gave me more than I could ever ask for. They will always have a special place in my heart.
